The VN-Index rose for a sixth consecutive session Tuesday, its first six-day winning streak since May 2015. The market added 0.57 points, or 0.10%, to 579.84, its highest level since November 27, 2015. Shares slid into the red during morning trading before reversing direction and breaching 582 in the afternoon. However, by closing below 580, the index failed to break through a resistance level that has thwarted two previous rallies during the last four months.
