The VN-Index broke a three-session losing streak Tuesday, closing up 4.5 points, or 0.8%, to 560.32. VNM (+2.2%) led gainers and contributed 1.8 points to the index after shareholders approved a plan – which we reported on yesterday - to withdraw seven business lines, a move seen by investors as a step toward raising the company's foreign ownership limit (FOL). Other climbers included GAS (+1.5%), which grabbed back some of yesterday's 2.7% loss, BVH (+2.4%) and MSN (+0.7%)
