The VN-Index rose by 0.7% today to close at a 6-month high. Banks VCB (+1.7%) and BID (+1.7%) were the leading contributors to the VN-Index’s gain, followed by real estate giant VHM (+0.9%). Amongst other banks CTG (+1.7%), VPB (+1.7%), STB (+0.8%), HDB (+0.5%) also increased but TCB (-0.2%), TPB (-0.8%) declined.
