The VN-Index climbed to a three-week high on Friday as it gained three tenths of a percent to close at 996.57 points. For the week, the index was up three quarters of a percent. VNM (+1.4%) hit its highest share price since May 20 and was the leading contributor to the day’s gain. Fellow food and beverage manufacturer SAB (+1.2%) gained more than 1.5% on the week. Conversely, MSN (-1.3%) was the leading contributor among decliners as it fell for the second day in a row.
