The VN-Index extended its winning streak to five sessions and reached a one-month high as it gained 1.4% on Thursday. On the day, there were 218 gainers on HOSE vs just 73 laggards. In addition, total trading volume on HOSE jumped to USD226.0mn after registering at only USD185.4mn on Wednesday. SAB (+6.2%) increased for its seventh straight session, surging to a five-month high. Bank stocks were particularly strong with BID (+2.6%), TCB (+4.2%), VPB (+4.3%), VCB (+0.7%), CTG (+1.9%)
