Market wrap: VN-Index advances on large caps. The VN-Index closed up six tenths of a percent on Friday as 20 of the 30 stocks in the VN30 basket posted gains. However, the index dropped eight tenths of a percent for both the week and the month. VIC (+0.8%) was the leading contributor to the gain, followed by its subsidiary VHM (+1.1%). Banks had a mixed day. VCB (+1.2%), BID (+2.2%) and TCB (+0.7%) were among the top seven contributing gainers.
