Market drops – The VNIndex suffered a 6-point loss (-1.35%) erasing the last two days’ gain on low turnover of just VND653bn. The HNX loss 1.66% but liquidity was buoyed by heavy trading of HBB which accounted for 16% of total trading value on the exchange. HBB is rumoured to be in merger talks with SHB. Foreign investors were net buyers on both bourses. We’re still in earnings season with lots of upcoming AGMs and 1Q results due soon.
