The VN-Index closed up 1.6% on Tuesday for its biggest one-day gain of the year so far. The index was up as much as 2.9% in the afternoon session, peaking just below 930. The market has risen 12 of the last 13 trading days for a 10% spurt over that period. Large cap names, such as VCB (+3.8%), VJC (+2.7%), VNM (+1.1%) and VIC (+0.9%), continued to hit fresh record highs while VRE (+6.9%) extended a 51% jump since listing earlier this month.
