The VN-Index jumped higher at the open, peaking near 666 in the first 30 minutes of trading before quickly retracing back to a low of 656 in the afternoon and finally closing up a smidge, 0.14 points, or 0.02%, to 660.65. VNM (+1.8%) was the top contributor to the index for a second day, reaching another record high after extending its hot streak to 27% since June 27 and 87% since August 2015
