The VN-Index fell for the first day in five on Thursday, closing down half a percent. After leading a sharp market rally in the second half of last month, banks slumped as investors took profits. VCB (-3.1%) was the top contributor to today's loss, followed by BID (-3.1%) and CTG (-2.7%).
