After advancing 1.9% last month, the VN-Index began March down slightly. GAS (-2.3%) led decliners after Brent crude prices slid for a second day overnight. GAS has dropped almost 5% during the last two sessions. HPG (+2.3%) gained after the steelmaker raised FY17 guidance for revenue and profit (see our note above).
