The VN-Index closed up two tenths of a percent on Friday, finishing the week up 0.35% after slumping the previous two weeks. VIC (+2.3%) had its best week in 11 months, advancing 4.2%, amid strong foreign inflows. HT1 (-6.5%) continued to plunge, falling 15% this week, amid strong selling by foreigners. HT1 said in a statement that missteps found by the Government Inspectorate in a project the firm has invested in won't affect the cost of its business operations.
