Although the VN-Index was up as much as three tenths of a percent on Friday morning, it dropped throughout the afternoon to ultimately finish the day down two tenths of a percent. The index fell -1.2% on the week, which was its largest weekly decline since the beginning of August. VNM (-2.3%) was the leading contributor to the day’s loss as foreign investors sold approximately USD6.5mn of the company’s shares. For the week, VNM was down 4.8%.
