The VN-Index started Monday’s session by plunging 4.6% to below the 900-point mark for the first time in more than a year as investors continued to demonstrate concern amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. However, the index climbed back throughout the afternoon to end the day down nine tenths of a percent. Over the past three sessions, the index has dropped 6.4%. VHM (-2.6%) sunk to a three-week low and was the leading contributor to the day’s loss.
