The VN-Index broke out of a mini-slump on Wednesday, rising for the first day in four by closing up half a percent. SAB (+2.7%) and BHN (+6.3%) extended gains today and the breweries are up 9.7% and 22%, respectively, so far this week since a State official said the Government plans to divest its stakes in the two companies by the end of this year. GAS (+3.3%) and PVD (+1.9%) reversed losses from earlier this week as Brent crude oil prices rose in overnight trading.
