The VN-Index fell to a fresh three-month low on Wednesday, closing down 1.8% for a fifth straight day of losses, the market’s longest losing streak in two years. Trading value on HOSE slid to USD154mn. The index has fallen 9.9% over the last three weeks. GAS (-7.0%) was the top contributor to the sell-off after the price of Brent crude oil extended an overnight plunge during Asian trading today. Other energy names such as PVD (-6.8%), PVS (-8.9%) and PLX (-3.8%) also fell sharply.
