Our view: Today is the show of large cap tickers, especially GAS (ceiling) and MSN (+3.5 points) together contributing almost 4 points to the VNI. At the closing bell, VNI soared 4.1 points (1.04%) to 397.5 while the HNI increased slightly 0.12% to 60.39. In summary of this week, VNI was up 0.4% while HNI dropped 1.7%.
