On Friday, the VN-Index fell three tenths of a percent, finishing the week and month down 3.7% and 3.2%, respectively. Liquidity on HOSE was muted for the second consecutive session, reaching only USD168.3mn. Bank stocks weighed heavily on the index with VCB (-1.3%), BID (-1.5%), TCB (-2.4%), EIB (-3.2%) and CTG (-0.7%) sinking. Both VIC (+2.8%) and its subsidiary VHM (+1.4%) increased for the second day in a row; however, VRE (-3.3%) plunged, closing down more than 10% for the week.
