Put-through transactions continued to play an important role in supporting liquidity on both bourses as they accounted for c.40% of the total trading value on the HSX and c.30% on the HNX. Both indexes ended the week in the red despite gaining ground in early trading. After losing the earlier five-point gain, the VNIndex failed to hold on to its gains just before the close.
