Market wrap: Financials lead stocks to second week of gains. The VN-Index climbed half a percent on Friday to close the week up a percent for its second straight week of gains. VCB (+3.6%) rose to a four-month high and was the top contributor to the day’s gain, followed by fellow financials BID (+3.6%) and BVH (+3.1%), which have jumped 38% and 21%, respectively, off lows last month. Losses in two VIC subsidiaries, VHM (-1.7%) and VRE (-2.0%), weighed on the market.
