Market wrap: Energy, banks lead stocks lower. The VN-Index had its biggest drop in two weeks, closing down 1.3% on Friday. For the week, the index fell 0.9% for a fifth week of losses in the last six. GAS (-5.1%) slumped to a three-month low as the price of Brent crude oil hit a seven-month low in Asian trading today. Other energy names, such as PVD (-4.6%), PVS (-4.8%), PVT (-1.7%) and PLX (-4.0%), were also hit by heavy selling.
